Equipment Hire & Training
With our on-site digital recording service you will benefit from having the attendance of an experienced technician who will install the recording equipment, provide a log of the proceedings, transfer the audio files ready for transcription and project manage all the requirements of the job.
If your budget is limited and your meeting consists of 5 or less people then we are able to loan our equipment and bespoke software to you so you can do the recordings yourself. The only draw back with this is that logs of who is speaking and when, which facilitate the transcription process, will not be produced. However, our transcribers are able to work with 5 speakers or less relatively easily, it is only when there are a larger number of speakers that it becomes complicated. We ask that introductions are made at the start of the meeting so voices can be correctly identified.
Full training will be given on the use of the equipment and software and we can guarantee that the equipment provided will be of the highest specification. Back-up devices will always be provided.
