
1) Orders - every order needs to be confirmed in writing prior to the commencement of the transcription. This agreement is accepted as a formal intent to deliver the services required. A quote will be given, if required, based on the estimated length of the recording but will be adjusted for the final invoice according to the actual number of audio minutes, words or pages transcribed.
2) Payment Period - full payment of due invoices to be paid within 28 days of the invoice date. We understand and will exercise our statutory right to claim interest and compensation for debt recovery costs under the Late Payment Legislation if we are not paid according to agreed terms. All overdue amounts shall be charged at a rate of 4.0% p.a. above the Bank of England base rate.
3) Cancellations - cancellations must be made in writing. Cancelled orders will incur a 100% charge if the transcription has commenced.
4) Confidentiality - all employees (in-house & subcontractors) are security cleared and are bound by a signed confidentiality agreement. MMG operates using a secure and encrypted network and email system.
5) Quality Control - MMG endeavours to delivery an accurate transcription service and has a full Quality Assurance procedure in place. However, we cannot guarantee that each document is free from errors. We are happy to make any reasonable amendments.
6) Notification of queries and/or complaints - notification of queries and/or complaints must be made to the Supplier in writing within seven (7) days of receipt of the goods and/or invoice; whichever is the latter.
7) Law - In the event of a default of this agreement, these terms and conditions of sale shall be governed by English law.
